MEET THE BAND
Vocals & Guitar & Keys
Nikki discovered her love of music playing penny whistles and banging on a bodhran with her uncle’s Celtic band when she was barely out of diapers. Her parents’ favorite rock albums-- Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Sabbath, and AC/DC-- played on constant repeat and can be listed as her earliest influences. She spent years performing, directing, and choreographing musicals for the stage and sharing her love of music with her students. With Nikki's passion for all genres of music, she pushes the range of songs from sweet and smooth to dirty rock and roll. She has impressive vocal control and not only complements the music with her voice but with guitar and keys as well.
Bass & Vocals
Brian always dreamed of playing guitar; he picked up the bass at fourteen. He played the local Atlanta, Georgia, scene for a number of years with various bands and even played bass with Collective Soul for a short time. Brian includes many styles of music as influencing his career, including R&B, alternative, new wave, and, of course, rock. Brian locks in the beat and keeps OSR in the pocket.
Glenn bought his first guitar on his 12th birthday, and within eight months, he was playing live with The West River Band. His guitar teachers included David Stadig, author of many guitar instructional books; Jodie Frawlee, Berklee trained Fishman endorsed artist nominated as the Guitar Player Superstar in Guitar Player magazine 2010; and Boston Conservatory instructor Joseph Holyoko. Glenn worked as a private guitar teacher, studio musician, and owned his own music store for a while. He played in a variety of bands, including Pop Rocks, Night Angel, Nasty Habit, and East Side Rock.
